My first yoga class was a hot one, back in 2009. An early 6:15am class with a few friends and my dad + sis.
I had no idea how much it was about to open up my life and outlook - and everyone I had come to class with.
We honestly all became so in love with yoga and what it was doing for our lives. It was instant love.
Yoga helped me heal lingering soccer injuries; the strength & range of motion that was created, got me back on field!
I am forever grateful for this, and I want to share this practice with as many people as possible.
It will help us all, in so many different ways, at different times in our lives.
It doesn't matter where you are at, your first class or your thousandth class; there is nothing better than an hour with yourself on your mat.
I have now been teaching for 10 years in Calgary;
in studios, corporate settings and private classes BUT my main love
is my Outdoor Yoga Classes that I started back in July 2010 in Stanley Park.
When I was first certified to teach in 2010, I was so nervous to get going, so I started with a small group of friends
in the park every Sunday to get my feet wet.
We have continued this class for the last 10 years and get a huge group of yogis that join us every
Sunday at 1pm from May-October every year.
We have since added an Outdoor Yoga Class in Mahogany, every Sunday as well.
